Well done Goonsquad I wonder how many subs ccp has lost after there latest stunt. Does anyone else feel the same way. Time will tell but the sucide ganking caused me to leave. High section ganking has gotta stop or it will lose ccp subs.

Unpredictable? But it's the same ol' same ol' since always. Now, if 6 months from now I hear some crazy story about how an intergalactic treatsie is agreed upon and everyone in the game ceases to gank and an era of peace emerges, THAT would be different and no one would expect it from EVE.

But ganking and griefing are not only predictable facets of EVE, but they're also expected gameplay elements.

Its nice to have the option to just do peacefull trade stuff in Jita or high, EVE as a sandbox should be about freedom and choice, and some players want to limit other's freedom for griefing. However either CCP limit what can be done for the sake of player choice or stay true to the freedom to do what you want to who you want, its a catch 22.

Humm, Seems the natives are restless here, not surprised. This last stunt by the Goonies might just cost CCP. Just to point out for any of the Posters that may live in Reolinda, the Goonie stunt was in high section space not 0.0.

Nothing wrong with hisec pvp but they should leave new players alone until they are up and running. To some, a new Hulk is pocket change, to a new player a Retriever or even a mining crusier is a substantial investment.

I'll never understand people that play EvE like its a questing themepark.

Stay in Hi Sec the entire time, do nothing but missions the entire time to buy more ships to do more missions to buy more ships to do more missions to buy more ships to do more missions to buy more ships...

Over and over in the most horrid repetitive mechanic in the entire game.

 

Eve's mission system is design as a way to work for cash to replace pvp loses not stock pile ships so you can spin them while docked...

Actually questing does involve some spreadsheets (of loot and profit per hour crap) probably more than just mindlessly exploding other players

In short questing and all other spreadsheet portions of the game is not the main course of EVE, EVE is about undocking in a shiney ship and pew pew pew.

I think zero means he doesn't understand why lots of players mechanically quest the same missions over and over to collect some token rewards to save for a bigger ship so they can quest slightly better missions and collect slightly better rewards so they can get a bigger ship etc etc....
