I would wait a couple of weeks, Nvidia have started with releasing the first 600 cards right now and that might give you a good price on some of the older cards, or one of the latests model.
The games we are talking about ain't that demanding, a 660 (or 560 in worst case) will be fine enough to max them out.
But change the PSU, please. Get a Corsair instead (preferably V2) or something else made by someone competent. A cheaper PSU saves you a few quick bucks but it will hurt your electricity bill and it might fry your computer. It is cheaper in the long run to get a good one.
If the hardware is what you're looking for, then it's not a terrible deal. But you should realize that you'll need a different power supply, so having to "buy" a power supply only to scrap it pretty much eats up the sale discount. Furthermore, the motherboard is low end, so overclocking is out of the question, as is SLI/CrossFire. Also, you'll need to add at least one more case fan and buy an OS license, in addition to the video card that you know you need. Getting an SSD would be nice if it fits your budget.
How much do you want to spend on a video card? You can pick up a Radeon HD 7770 for $135 before a $15 rebate, which seems to be the best performance per dollar on the market right now. If that's not your desired budget and performance level, then what is?
If you have a $900 budget, then wait for someone here to build a you a custom PC. It'll be way better than a pre-built or barebones kit.
You do need an OS license, and can't reuse one from an old computer unless you bought a full retail version, which would be unusual.
Also, if you have a monitor, then it's likely that you have other peripherals that you're going to reuse.
Nevertheless, I'll take your word for what you need and what you don't. Here you go:

Total: $908, including shipping, before $25 in mail-in rebates. Or $845 if you exclude peripherals. Do make sure that you catch the promo code on the power supply.
Yes, I included a 120 GB SSD. But it's effectively only $100 with the combo deal. Some people would argue for spending more on the video card instead of getting an SSD. But it's easy to upgrade a video card later, and harder to add an SSD later. And I don't really like the value for the money on higher end video cards, either; you spend twice as much and get something maybe 40% faster.
The Ivy Bridge i7 3570K is $189.99 @Micro Center, however its in-store pickup only, so you have to be near one or know someone that can go get it for you and ship it. They also have a promotion currently for $50 off any Z77 MB with the purchase of a that particular CPU.
If you're near an MC, thats $90 less for your build!
thanks for all the great info everyone
