I think this would be great, I would also vote AC2.
The problem with this is the cost, you need to get programmers familiar with the code, then get game breaking bugs fixed, get servers to host on, modify the code for f2p , more money for marketing and hire support staff.
I guess its a big chance to take for a game that failed once before.
Time for fresh meat. It's bad enough they can't even make movies without part 2's and 3's and remake movies not even a decade old (talking about spiderman) I won't mention music. I hope it's all fresh games and fresh ideas for a while.
I need to wash this taste of rancid Soylent Green out of my mouth.
While I'm also on the AC2 band wagon for this topic I'm of the opinion an updated version being a mix of AC1&2 as a F2P or B2P with some other form of cash revenue as the ultimate game for me and probably many other "old timers" and perhaps even some "youngsters".
Liscense fees. MxO for example is a dead game that died while still having potential (as a cyberpunk social MMO). My guess would be the fee to use the IP would make it unprofitable.
Ken Fisher - Semi retired old fart Network Administrator, now working in Network Security. I don't Forum PVP. If you feel I've attacked you, it was probably by accident. When I don't understand, I ask. Such is not intended as criticism.

Well usually i let ppl have there own opion. But Lotro isnt a dead game far from it. there game isnt that bad and they still have a player base. So Lotro is far from a dead game. if you find it a fail thats your opinion and all rights to you. but quite a few people find it to be a good game and they have all the rights to that opinion also.
You really need to change that picture in your sig...
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
