PS2 or PC? [poll]

 I play on PS2, it seems that the interface would suck on PC with all of the menus. Using a spell must suck without a marco.

i play on PC and most people thing PC is better for Graphic game control etc...but you can enjoy it as well on PS2,!

An important thing to point out is a lot of abilities and skills done in FFXI must be done by creating a macro.  Macros are set to hot keys. Here is the comparison:

   Player A wants to "Provoke" a monster....

if he has a PS he can either:

1) DROP his controller, hit a hot key

2) press either L1 or R1 and scroll over to where his macro is preloaded

3) scroll though abilities, select "Provoke"

if he has a PC:

1) hit a hot key WHERE HIS HANDS ALREADY ARE

2) scroll through abilities and select "Provoke"

    I guess the point (and I'm sure there are more to be made) is it's a speed edge PCer's have over PS2er's  The L1 or R1 preset macros aren't bad, but when you're using several macros it can slow you down scrolling through over and over.

Personally I play on PS2, but wish I played on PC.  But that's just me.

I play on PC and the controls to me seem far easier than the PS2 ones. Using macros is alot simpler since you are already using the keyboard, you dont have to switch from keyboard to controller or vice versa.

..ps2 is so much better bigger screen comfortable on a couch is not bad... controller is easy to use..u can also hook up keyboard.. so its the same thing on a big screen and more comfort than a computerchair.... you ppl have no clue what u are talkign about considering you can use a keyboard for ps2 its the same damn thing and if u really wanted to use a mouse...

For all the people that haven't played on PS2 that much its way easier to play PS2. I play FFXI on PS2 I never had to change from keyboard to PS2 controller. The only time is when you need to type. (Press L2 or R2 to toggle to macros menu.) Simple.

Personally, I prefer PC... and in regards with Ps2.. i think i'll pass... hope that the production of ps3 will come out sooner than expected. Another reason that the technology advantage is continuing to grow more each passing day.

for all PS2 players who haven't played on a PC you should try it!!  theres really no comparison in graphics or sound...PC is sooo much better you would be amazed...and also, buy a Saitek dual analog controler and you wont miss the ps2 controller at all

i play it on the pc , but it don't think the gfx are that much different between pc & ps2 so it doesn't really matter on what you play it !

     Have you ever tried to do garrison on a PS2?  Max filters and it's still impossible.  Even a halfway decent PC has a higher processing speed than PS2.
