i have 3 copies of D3 ordered got them years ago when they where £18
when i played the betai it was a bit let down and i was kinda expecting more
as its unlikly i will be able to purchase D3 for £18 for a long long time im just going to buy them but i am not really expecting much
im just thinking of this as a filler game and im not acctualy excited about the game at all and hoping it gets a lot better later on
Damn thats a good deal you got there, pre-ordering too far in advance always feels like a gamble to me but I bet it feels nice a week out knowing how much you saved over everyone else
Main thing I'm looking forward to with D3 is finally having a game where I level up and collect better gear and progress and that kind of thing. Its been years since I've had an mmo actually entertain me enough to play it with any kind of dedication. Plus every friend I have who plays PC games is getting it so I will have no shortage of group mates.
My days are all messed up. For some reason, I thought it was coming out this Tuesday. Uggh, what an awful realization. Like waiking up from a really good dream to find out that your life still sucks. LOL
I still wish I could name my WD billywitchdoctor.com.
Arise chicken, arise!
I used that name for some game years ago but now I can't remember which one.
On-topic: Still on the fence about D3. Already pre-ordered GW2, looking real hard at TSW and really enjoying my current MMO. Plus I still haven't finished Skyrim, LA:N, KoA:R,R2:DW and DS3. Also playing the Age of Decadence beta and digging the old school aspects of it.
Bartoni's Law definition: As an Internet discussion grows volatile, the probability of a comparison involving Donald Trump approaches 1.
Still haven't decided if I want to buy it. Loved the first two but the OBT for D3 was pretty boring unless you played co-op with friends. I think that is because the game is to easy and it scales with the number of co-op players, since I play MMOs and GW2 is close I really don't think spending money on D3 is a wise choice since I probably will only play it a few weeks until I finish is on NightMare mode and be done with it.

they said at blizzcon that Act 1 was the tutorial but that Normal mode wont be much challenge
personally I found that disappointing because I would like be challenged while I'm completing the storyline
I know 3 other modes still await everyone after normal
but even with D2, Nightmare and Hell didnt interest me that much
People are so FREAKING STUPID IT'S INSANE and they will CONDEMN a game for the 1/3rd of the first act of the first difficulty of the game that has 4 difficulties.

Normal Mode was easy? What a shock!
You won't be finishing Inferno Mode within a few weeks, I suggest looking into it abit more before you make spur of the moment judgments based on a lack of info.
You played 1/3 of Act 1 on Normal Mode lol. Seriously guy.

How exactly is it a gamble when you can cancel a preorder whenever you want?
If you see a game your even slightly interested in for very cheap preorder you would be stupid not to preorder it, as preordering it at least secures the price until you do make your mind up and if you do decide to buy it you get it ultra cheap, if you decide not to you simply click the cancel button..
I preorderd a year ago for £22.and I am glad I did, wish I had seen it when it was £18 but hell I still saved £10.
To be fair, D2 normal, aside from Duriel and maybe Diablo (if you were solo), was painfully easy if you had played Diablo 1. Judging by where Blizzard has been marketing, they are expecting a good amount of non-traditional gamers to play Diablo 3.
Maybe the normal run-through is just fine for someone that hasn't played a game like this before. I'm sure many of you played D2 as your first game of this genre. Let me assure you, D2 normal was SO much easier than Diablo 1. You would be saying the same thing then that you're saying now.

Watch this. There's some high difficulty footage also.
People say "WoW is too easy" also, even tho there are only a handful of people on each server who cleared the current raiding content on heroic difficulty. The Blizzard philosophy is making games with wide difficulty levels, thus not stoping the casual and not-that-skilled gamers to enjoy the content on an intended difficulty for them. If you are better, you can chose a higher difficulty and the better rewards make you stand out. What's so hard to understand?

Thanks for the link, just purchased Diablo 3 today and I was kinda worried that the game might actually require other people to be able to complete on higher difficulties.

Good to hear Diablo 3 is fully solo-able
