I bought RIFT and SWTOR on their launches.

I have bought Diablo3, Guild Wars 2, and The Secret World.

Loved the beta for D3 and GW2 both. Those are awesome games.

I await TSW with baited breath, I love the concept of a level-less game based in modern day. I hope they can do it right...

    That's just me though...

    Pre-bought GW2 a while ago.

SWTOR is dead so stopped playing that.

WoW is just old and tired. Rift AOC LOTRO are all a bit meh, played them all a bit a while ago.

I bought Tera on a whim, just to sort of check it out while waiting for GW2.

    oh my

    oh my was I surprised

It's... a fantastic game. Just surprisingly good.

I'd played the GW2 beta and enjoyed it a lot so didn't expect to enjoy another MMO for a while but omg... Tera is really surprisingly good.

I hope it gathers a lot of word of mouth support, it really deserves to be a big, big title.

Voted Tera, even if I have never played or followed it at all.

Diablo III: well, from what I've read, good buy if you've liked previous diablo games. I never played either extensively so I can't recommend whether it'll be good or no, so no vote on it.

GW2: This is my game of choice, I pre-purchased it and enjoyed the first beta weekend inmensively. However, if you're going to buy only one game, skip it for now. We don't know a release date and the earliest you could play it if you bought it now would be on next BWE that's speculated to be around the end of may, but nothing official, and that's only for a weekend. If you're interested, you can skip buying it until closer to release once it's announced.

RIFT: this is one very fun game if you like WoW inspired themeparks. However, while you will see lots of people around, specially in cities, the game has been out for over a year by now so it's very top heavy, meaning that you'll most likely be soloing your way to the level cap, and once there it's a classic gear grinder and it might be difficult to find groups for the starter dungeons to start gearing up...

... which is why I'd recommend Tera. From everything I've heard it handles combartdifferent than almost anything out there, much more action based, but other than that it's a classic themepark gaming. The difference, though, is that Tera was just released, so if you get it now you're bound to find a large and active community of people just starting and spread all over the leveling range, so you can most likely find groups and people to play with from beggining to end, plus everyone is learning the game as it is, so if you join now chat won't be filled with acronyms you won't understand.

About the other games, don't know enough of them to recommend any.

What can men do against such reckless hate?

Help me to understand where you guys are coming from.

Wich game shall i buy this week?

     None.. - 10.0%

     DIABLO III - 24.9%

     TERA - 15.7%

     GW2 - 35.6%

For starters how can Diablo III be so high up when its not even an mmorpg?  How can people really go back to that type of thing after playing an MMORPG?

GW2 - HOW!?  Do we even know when this game is going to be released?  How can people vote so high for purchasing it next week?  Why did the people in beta enjoy it so much?  Please answer the following questions to help me understand:

Did you guys that enjoyed it play an elementalist or a thief? (these are the ones I played)

Did you play UO before 2011? if so for how long?

Did you play asheron's call before asheron's call 2 was released? if so for how long?

How long did you play WoW for?

Do you play MMORPGs more than 25 hours per week?

    Tera or D3.

Matter of preferance and your gaming hours.

Both are excellent bang for the buck.

honestly though, dont ask people what game YOU should buy... buy a game YOU want to buy... everyone else has their own tastes.. so you shouldnt rely on interweb people to make your choices... other wise people will sell you a "sunny" beach front in antartica :/
