I was so excited for SWTOR and i spend few good months in this game. But now is time for real deal--Most epic rpg ever made Oblivion saga comes online! Nine playable races! Three factions! Four Legendary Oblivion guilds (i am already sick from player guilds aka wow, aoc,gw).Huge and beautiful world of Tamriel.Huge pvp battles and no agro in pve. Most mystical world in rpg gaming, change of weather and day time. Now people forget everything and wait for real deal, go surfing, shooting, hunting, running or whatsever and come back when new era of mmo gaming start. I have a dream, i have dream again . Haters will be ignored!

LOL! Now that's what I call overhyping yourself xD. Really, the hype is completely groundless besides the fact that the title has "Elders Scrolls" in its name.
Your vision may not necessarily coincide with the vision that the devs have in mind.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a hater. Simply being realistic here. We need more info and in particular, how the game actually plays out in game footage.
For all we know, you may be expecting sandbox game that follows in the footsteps of Skyrim with collision detected and action-oriented combat where aiming matters and tab targetting is non-existant but when the game footage arrives, we see usual skill bar in the likes of WoW, turn based combat and linear questing.
Keep your hype in check is what I suggest .
Looking forward to EQL and EQN.
I wont be hype into I see a actualy gameplay oh how everything on the game works and btw I totaly love Elderscrolls a ton but man they have allot of work for them I will suggest to elderscrolls to wait a little learn from other MMO's.... when they release Elder Scrolls Oblivion and that took a long long long time to develop Elder Scrolls Oblivion Was the Most Epic Up To Date Game I play for both Console and Computers PC and then they had Mods I was like oh man I just saw The Lord Of The Rings Movies and saw the boss with hes dragon and With Elder Scrolls Oblivion someone can make it exactly like that and it made me play it more and more Skyrim I havent Play it allot becouse I been Playing Aion Online and that game was the closes I can relate to Elder Scrolls Morrowind Oblivion and Sjyrim, So I dunno how Elder Scrolls will do it as a MMO's I only See a real hard job here but if Guild Wars 2 is doing it like a Action RPG Elder Scrolls Online Can Do it but I see a big big Margin Of error to be a game when it is release onlest they Totaly Blow Everybody Out Of Their Minds So I will suggest this game wont be release in years and technology is always changing and technology makes games.
its people like you, that buy every new 'most epic game' even before it gets realeased, that makes devs keep on making endless clones of each other. Because regardless how similar their games might be, people will still buy it, because you know its the next bestest thing. just like every mmo past wow was. Sooner people stop supporting devs who are trying to play safe, and make a game that plays for 1-2 months, the better.
haters were ignored for swtor too, but it didnt end pretty.
its also possible that OP is just trolling, given he mentions his history with swtor :P
Honestly, the moment i'll see the game i'll decide, so far i expect the usual delusion.
Call me pessimistic on this one, and with the hope to be surprised.
In my ever growing pessimistic streak i see world of Tamriel on the horizon. Nothing against World of Warcraft, is a fun and great game, just.. i can't stop to think that system don't mix with the Elder Scrolls we were used to play, and i have no fait when it came to MMOs and developers.
MMOs cost a lot, and people don't take huge risks just for the sake of fans, they go for the safest way possible trying to put somehting here and here to call it innovative.
And i don't expect anything different this time, at best might have a combat system like TERA or GW2, at best.

Hehe, I hope your dream comes true, but I advise to stay away from this website if you want to stay optimistic.

I'm just going to look at TESO as a chance to play DAOC 2 *potentially.*
I am disappointed with not having a (in my opinion, obviously) true TES mmo experience from this game, but hey, I am looking forward to Darkfall 2 for that kind of combat (if it ever materializes).
TESO sounds like it will be okay for an MMORPG. I don't hate it, since I don't know enough about it. Enough of what has been said about it seems more interesting than the current crop of games available right now. I do understand why a lot of people hate TESO -- I think it's SWTOR backlash against devs money-grubbing on beloved IPs with stale gameplay mechanics. And nobody seems to love the Hero Engine.
For me, I hope we can at least swim in TESO. If we can't swim, it's like not being able to jump in GW. I just can't live with that, as petty as it might seem to some.

well if he liked swtor he should like this sicne they are both pretty much the same game.
there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.
change of weather day and night...lol
Darkfall is better.

Many feel TOR is a good game, they just don't feel it makes for a worthwhile MMO

I'm looking forwards to TESO, because what're have heard so far from the devs, its nothing like swtor (or wow). It sounds like daoc pvp, EQ pve & gw2 combat.
Based on the OP's reaction to the accouncement, he'll be one of the first to run to these forums and complain when it doesn't live up to this expectations.
Good work, OP. Killed the game for yourself already.
This game has as much chance of being garbage as any of them do. I wouldn't start hyping it up as your Jesus game yet. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be expecting Skyrim Online, and it's not going to be that.
One thing that worries me is that it has already been in development for a long time, so they may be holding onto some dead/dying themepark MMO ideals that many of us have become sick of. Only time will tell. I'll reserve judgement until we get a ton more details, but I'm certainly not getting excited for it at this point.
A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.
A sound post if there ever was one.

I would settle for Morrowind online. That said, Darkfall is closer to being like Morrowind online then this MMO will ever hope to be as it turns out.

Yay I'm excited for the nex ttheme park tab target MMO! wooooooo happy days! :):)
You are throwing a shoe at a cloud, and it's also none of your business how people choose to spend their money. While people on this site may be generally more savvy about these games, sometimes the money isn't that big of a deal. This is no excuse for game companies making crappy games, and while some of these companies make their money back on box sales, they don't make nearly the long term income they could if they build a solid and fun game. It's not the player's fault lackluster games get built, and the fact that a game is lackluster is subjective. I personally like to pick one game and play it for years, while others are perfectly happy getting a few months out of them. By that measurement, I'm looking for something completely different than some other gamers are. Neither of us are right or wrong. It's up to us as consumers to do the research and know what we are getting into if we find the expenditure to be a big deal for us.
I bought SWTOR based on my first impressions, and inside of a month I ended up realizing it was crap. They got my money, but they aren't getting any more of it. I bought GW2 as soon as I could because I believe in ANet, and I liked what i was seeing way before BWEs.

You're only hurting yourself if you keep Hyping up games like this. Just wait til you get to try it then make a judgement, all this extreme hyping will most likely lead to sadness when you actually try the game out. No game will ever have everything you wish it would have.

It's the opposite for me. I'm going to be extremely critcal of this game. If it somehow doesn't dissapoint me, when it comes out, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I think players are getting smarter and smarter. After a few AAA titles fell short of their expections, we are atleast waiting for more information before we decide on what to do.
Most of the hate is not on the existence of TESO, but rather what wasn't included and was told to not be included in TESO.
Lets just hope that when its finally ready for a reveal through gameplay footage, we won't be blinded by the settings, but rather focus on the actual gameplay.
I don't hate TESO, I just don't really like what have been shown of it right now.
Life is a Maze, so make sure you bring your GPS incase you get lost in it.
Based on what info we have on the game it's going to be a pass for me. Nothing about it sounds like what I wanted from a ES mmo.
My theme song.
It's going to need to include all those elements that made TES games so much fun. If it doesn't include things like a vast open world, lore galore, interesting reasons to venture off the beat'n'path, skill and leveling system like Morrowind, real time combat like Skyrim, etc, etc. than it's really not going to be any more than a sell-out IMO.
I have not really looked at the information very much but from what I have heard it's not going to include Skyrim style combat which makes not sense to me at all. The whole left hand/right hand thing with the ability to switch skills quickly just feels so much more fluid than tab targeting plus a skill bar. I also like how Skyrim has gone to great lengths to minimize the UI which I would hate to see a MMO go backwards.
