I know it's minor.
Dont get me wrong. I am loving the game, but no fishing?
I used to love taking a break and fish awhile in WoW, not knowing what I might pull up.
Who else likes to fish in a game? It is soothing, plus, you have to watch your back in PvP.
Oh well

Dito that, every MMORPG needs fishing and cooking if it's wel implemented. I fouond it quite fun in WoW with the lockboxes and everything.
WOW,eq2,Vanguard,WAR,LOTRO,AOC,Rift Aion, SWTOR, TERA.
Currently playing GW2.
Fishing would give those useless bomb some use XD
If I'm not mistaken Rift just added it recently and i'm sure it's just one of those things most games introduce later on instead of right away.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what future patches bring. Besides what's already known ala Queen of Argon part 2, battlegrounds and enhanced PvP systems.
Finishing off a Red with a bomb is run Rex, we'll have to do it sometime.
Got to pratice my pvp first lol, been pve for so long my pvp sucks so bad =
I'm of the opinion that they're both vital time sinks in games.
TERA would greatly benefit from cooking especially, in the hopes of regening stamina/health/mana quicker. As it stands as a warrior, the only options we have are bandages and health pots and usually you must use multiples in order to regen full health. It's a pain in the butt.
I'd rather my character eat a delicious treat and regen their things entirely in one go.
Yeah i miss my fishing time in Final fantasy XI, o old good time. All mmo should have these features.
Uh, yeah... while I enjoyed fishing in WOW, there's a few other issues I'd like the TERA Dev team to focus on right now, particuarly in the areas of Guild vs Guild on the PVE servers.

Yeah they have bigger issues to worry about.
For me, i see the community being the driving force on me leaving the game prematurely .
Yes i know bad communities are suppose to be a forever present force in mmorpgs these days, its just this community seems overly immature and overly angry and combative to anyone trying to figure something out in chat by asking for help or suggestion. Its a contrast that dives me nuts. 10 year old comedy routines and memes from 2004 are fine but ask for some help and watch the communty band together to stomp you out. Particulairy fustrating since there just isnt a lot of online resources, and a lot of issues to do with custimization of the ui and help msg simply cant be changed...you wont know this and the community wont tell you however.
Id actually like to transfer off a pvp server simply for the potential of a slightly more tolerable community, even with the free xfer they are not allowing pvp players to go to a pve server.
Everything else with the game is becomming small potatoes to me, i cant play these games where i have to avoid the communties.
Make sure you use health regen crystals on your armor. Makes a big difference.
I died a couple times yesterday on my sorc and a couple of the mana regen crystals broke and I definitely noticed the downtime, and the health regen ones are good for if I do get hit.
And the box treasure in SWTOR is so much fun either
