    I just play World of Warcraf and Guild Wars. No other games appeal to me. So I guess it means that they suck. Atleast I don't like any others.

    This sort of threads have no motive except annoying the players of the games mentioned

    You can dislike a game of course, but if your critism is just "it sucks", that makes no sense at all, as you don't describe your reasons very well, you don't define the aspects you don't like..

    Neither Anarchy Online nor WoW "suck"

    Hehe  Someone playing Rysom is actually saying WoW sucks.  I nearly fell out of my chair.  If that is not for humor or shock value, I hope everyone remembers you and lends you the credibility you deserve.  image

     

    I have played EQ1, EQ2, SWG, WoW, Horizons, CoH, Rysom, and the space one in beta.

     

    WoW has them all beat.  EQ2 simply is out of touch.  Hard for me to say, being that EQ was my introduction to the games, and I loved it until the endless expansions and changes that runied the game.  EQ2 did not learn from that.  They are desperatly trying to make it solo friendly, but it id difficult to change a game from it's original intent.  Which was forced grouping, and grinding.  Even with quests.

     

    I had very high hopes for EQ2, and WoW simply did it right.  The rest listed are shallow, or do not fit my style.  Or many others, based on sales.....

    I don't get it. Why don't people say "I personally think WoW sucks" instead of "WoW sucks." and why don't they ever back up with a good reason? There's more then a million people playing WoW, including me, so the game is obviously fun to us. There are about, what, 15k people playing Horizons. Does this mean the game naturally sucks? Heck no, there are always people that like the game, and see fun things in it. I don't mind reading people's judgement, but you're definetly not going to change people's minds just by stating "WoW sucks."

    And what's up with people debating which game is better? Yes, I've done it, but I grew up. I see people 20+ and 30+ doing it. Why? Whatever happened to "I disagree with what you're saying, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

    I think its extremely immature. You; the guy with the Saga of Ryzom sig, nobody is flaming you for liking a game that's not as widely played as, say, WoW. So why flame WoW? What's this personal vendetta you have against WoW? You give Dutch people a bad name.

    The lack of intelligent or at least coherant post's in this thread is disturbing.

    Oh and over a million playing wow? Which orifice did you pull that number from? It is no where close to that.

    Simple, Wow = Solo casual gamer appeal, It is what it was designed for and currently does it better then any other. EQ2 designed for End game Raiding, its all pretty simple. Both games are great in their own respect.
