Is it worth the download?
How is the player base?
Why does it seem like every eastern mmorpg has only 3-4 classes
The game is not all that good. Just like on Knight Online, the mobs are endless. You walk out of the city gates and BOOM endless supplies of them. 4 classes like someone already stated, but they branch off at I think it was level 30, you have two choises per class then. From what I've read about them, all people of the same class are pretty much the same person and if you try to work your class out differently (advancing different skills much like in RYL) you'll suck.
*Point @ click movement which I can't get over.
*The graphics remind me of FF8 only a little better.
RYL graphics = Better
KO graphics = Worse
*You can tell its still in testing because of the bugs, but thats common.
*From what I've seen there is not much in the quest department.
*Crafting is not very immersive.
*Lower levels don't have must for skills, not sure about higher levels but I'm guessing it would be pretty close to the same.
*Low amount of character customization, everyone of the same class pretty much looks the same.
*Crafting "quest" chicken suit which when I seen someone actually wearing it I said "f this" and left. Lol, sorry, but I can't play a game where someone turns into a giant chicken.
*Areas: There seems to be enough, but its not a wander's/explorer's world. The entire area is available for viewing on your ingame map and each area has a "go back to last (lower level) area or go forward (to high level) area. I think of it as an elevator world, where each floor to go up to, the mobs get slightly harder. The zone's are small, and jam packed with mobs. Nothing in them to "find" or have a purpose to explore them.
Basicly though, to sum it up, if you like RYL/KO, try it. Its nothing I would ever pay for though.
