Ensemble Online Alpha Test Weekend

Ensemble Online is having an Alpha Test Weekend on Friday, June 1st, and is giving out 50 alpha keys for the event. We're reaching out to a few different communities to search for quality testers, but the keys will go fast!



Ensemble Online is an open world, sandbox MMORPGRTS, in which you gather resources, tactically control territory, and build cities while fighting for control of one expansive, and persistent world. No limiting where you build, no text-based battles, no losing your progress when you log off. This is RTS in the MMO-iest sense of the acronym.

 

 



If you'd like a key for the alpha weekend, respond to this post telling us why you'd be a good tester (we need players with good ideas and a sharp eye for bugs and glitches).

    I would like an alpha key.  I love onine strategy games and I have played quite a few of them.  Evony, Might and magic heroes kingdoms, Age of Empires Online, ect.  Many of them are sadly almost identical Evony copies, but I keep serching for one which will be different.  From looking into Ensemble so far it looks like it is finally an mmorts that is not a copy.  There are some tough gameplay elements to deal with when developing an mmorts that are unique to the genre and I always want to see how someone can deal with them and make the game fun and persistant at the same time.  I make sure to weigh fun factor, freedom, persistance, and other factors when providing suggestions or talking about issues.  I am also a software developer myself so I know the technical side of applications as well.

    Looks fun. I like the rts/rpg elements listed. Sure, I would enjoy a key. Reasons why? Simple really, some good feedback (good or bad) and suggestions/opinions about the game. Just what you want. I have been around for a while and have "tested" many games. Mature and funny. Thanks for posting.

     

    *EDIT: I just wanted to add TOS and state of the game is kept private between us.
