Why don't we all......?

I really don't expect this to gain much momentum but it really does need to be done.

EA needs a organized boycott movement in demand that the management be changed.

I'm not kidding! Boycotts are always successful when they are organized. When enough people scream loud enough they make waves.

We the people with the money that pays executive's salaries have all the power if we use it.

We all know what kind of company EA is don't we? If you don't I'm sure there are plenty here that will tell you.

Winning the "2012 worst company in America award" from Consumer Reports should be enough said. The votes for EA was double what they were for the number 2 slot Bank of America LOL. Who ever would of thought Consumer Reports had 250,000 followers that are gamers? They don't, EA is just that evil.

Anyways, I don't expect this suggestion to go very far. Gamers seem to like being exploited.

We could conquer this evil empire if we just would and demend management be replaced by people that take pride in their products, pride in the industry, use common sense and show their customers a bit of respect.

What say you?

Most of the people still playing SWTOR are probably in it for the long haul. It works for them. Leave them in peace.

I sit on a man's back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means - except by getting off his back.

Yeah but it's not all about TOR. TOR may be the straw but EA has years of terrible customer relations and attempted if not successfull monopolizing in this industry (see NFL).

Like I said, I don't expect this to go very far but it should. I don't understand why gamers can talk big but carry small sticks.

Just my opinion, but entertainment is a luxury, not a birthright. And all that matters with luxury is what you do, personally. If you don't want to support EA, then don't. That should be enough.

You can boycott Nike, for example, because they abuse workers in Indonesia. You cant boycott Nike because you think the new Air Jordans look stupid.

250,000 ex TOR players all banded together, created an account with Consumer Reports just to vote EA the winner?

That's a little much or my suggestion of a boycott would of already have succeded with that kind of camradery.

Seriously do you believe that? It wasn't voted worst gaming company it was voted worst company period.

We tried to boycott the extremely nasty cafeteria at work....The food is almost uneatable.

EVERYONE eat at the cafeteria that day anyway......EVERYONE.....

I don't know about every country, but everyone in the United States can not do with out even for one day !!!

Something like an mmo, you would have to stop paying a sub, so it hurts them in the pocket.  So you would have to ask everyone to stop for 30 days............So come on, you really think that would happen ?

Now this is only my opinion. I think all the big money is made on the up front box sales, all income after that is just a bi product, sometimes a hefty one sometimes not.  So EA had already, by far made out.

I maintain that the amount of people unsubbing from SWTOR is a pretty clear indicator of the free market at work.

A free market system does not require boycotts....
