EA/Bioware must be looking to put out another report about their sub count in the next few weeks. I'm sure all the weekend pass takers will be counted as full subs when the press release comes out.

Lol, even so since its free ill prob play it just for sumthin to pass the time a bit. im not gonna play it for real till it goes F2P tho.
If I sign up to play just the weekend trial, with EA count me as a 'sub'?
You dont have to "Sign up" just log in with ur old dusty SWTOR account, least thats how it was last free weekend.

Lol most of it isnt just blind hatred, this game would make a good single player in my view. the population makes it impossible to do group content, and overall the gameplay is literally WoW clonish the only difference i noticed is "PvP Trinkets" are abilities rather. does it mean the game is bad, not really. people just want something different especially me after playing WoW for 4-5 years
Edit: seeing as i never made it past a week of consistent gameplay i guess i cant really talk when it comes to mechanics as there are probably more differences i just havent seen em other than the companion system, for combat i mean.

How exactly do you get your account to end anyway ?
I did 3 month pass initially , started playing first day of early trial , unsubb'd in march and haven't logged in since then , my account should have ended sometime in April , yet it's still active without any further billing.
They won't let me escape the subscriber count.
Ever it seems.
Out of curiousity, I logged into my account and found the following message inside the subscriptions tab.
"This account is not permitted to access the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ servers.
Any subscription associated with this account has been automatically canceled and will not be renewed.
An email notification has been sent to the email address associated with this account with more information about what this means and what steps may be taken to resolve the issue."
Now I did not get banned for doing bad things in-game, but I did e-mail EA/Bioware directly in late January requesting that they close the account down entirely. The reason I asked them to do so was when people started complaining about the "unsub" option being removed, I figured why take any chances.
Either way, Im glad that my old account won't be used to pad EA/Bioware's fake numbers, lol. These guys are acting just like the Department of Labor when it comes to reporting unemployment figures; everything is 99% spin and 1% truth.
