I managed to get to level 21 this morning and finished act 1. All in all it took me around 7 hours, checking out every nook and cranny of each map. Really wanted to get a peek of the next desserty act but "I can has no further access".
Ah well ... I might take another class through act 1 tomorrow. Maybe I'll try Advanced difficulty this time because normal was a tad too easy so far.
Any impressions on further acts by long term betaists or is that still covered by an NDA?
I'm curious if normal difficulty will get harder later on and whether further acts also feel as fleshed out and rich as the first act because I was happily surprised so far.

Difficulty is being adjusted as we speak. A lot of different factors because this is no longer a soloplayer game only. One step up from normal many/most soloplayers find that boss fights end up being boring/too hard - Not just hard and this needs to change. Scaling encounters to amount of players is a big one.
For the other part.... Suffice to say: If you feel happy so far then I am sure you will find another xx hours of happiness coming up
We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!!
(repeat ad infinitum)
Thanks for the reply Curious how the difficulty balancing will end up.
edit: My blog on it is up! o/

I have a question thats related to TL2 Beta.
In the SS below the player stats are all above 60, and strength is above 100. My question is do any of you guys know how the hell this person got them that high?
As far as I know, stat increases stop at level 21 because the Beta level cap is 21, and by that time you are lucky if you have one stat above 60.
Yes there are items that increase your stats, but look at the SS again...that player has ALL stats at 60 or above, and strength above 100. You can not get enough items in the beta to get that kind of increase at level 21.
My guess is he played at 21 for quite a while, grinding the final boss in Act 1 to get good stuff and also getting multiple layers of enchantments on each piece of gear at the enchanter. I did so myself on a few items and it can make a big difference. Didn't screenshot my own stats sadly.
