Yep. You can buy the game for $5 from the official site, too... but you don't get any game time with your purchase.
No 30 days free
7 bucks? What a rip off.
So the 1st month is $22.00, then $15.00 there after. I wouldn't call that a rip off.

It's a good game and very much worth it.
It is now 5.99 on Amazon, and includes everything a boxed copy would, including the first 30 days. I recently used the one I bought a while ago when it was on sale for 4.99, and it included the 30 days free. I only played for 2 weeks, but it was worth 4.99.
Mine came with 30 days free when I bought it a while back on sale for 4.99. I would think that if it didn't come with the 30days there would be a lot more complaints there about it. Makes me wonder if he didn't buy it from Trion's website at wanted to complain to a broader audience.
I wonder if you could level to 20 for free, then add the 30 days for $5.00. That would be a pretty substantial jumpstart for 5 bucks.
I played Beta and never did purchase the game.
Rifts are designed with the gameplay and quality that are meant for a F2P game not P2P.
It will never be big.
