Focus on a Single Quest

Hey guys,

 

I'm looking for an MMO that has a focus on completing a quest or a series of quest rather than stacking a questlog full of trivial quests. Is there such an MMO where this is possible?

I know I could play any regular theme park game and simply take one quest at a time, but the quests are usually meaningless and don't have an elaborate quest chain associated with them.

Are there currently any MMOs out there that have a series of quest chains to level up rather than stacking billions of quests?

I'm not too concerend about if it's p2p or f2p, but I'm not a big fan of the jrps or their art style.

Runescape has the best quests available right now.

The quests are amazing and even hard you could say.

The Secret World will limit the number of quests you can have at once. That said, I've heard this system, despite its good intentions (I get sick of the quest spam myself), is kind of cumbersome, so I'd suggest you try to get a beta weekend code or a pre-order code (which will give you beta weekend access) once the next testing session draws closer.
