6 for me but everyone has their own scale and some things weigh more on some peoples scales than others so really score means very little.
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
After looking at the score of SWTOR (o wait! different author doesn't count!) 8.7 - which launched with NO UI customization, no LFG, unresponsive controls etc. Then after looking at the Murphy's review on DCUO - 8 - which at the time he reviewed it was not only littered with a billions showstopping quest stopping bugs, communicating with another player was a feat, no UI customization or user friendliness, and was an exploiter's nirvana - as anyone who did PvP those days could attest to: same author claims he likes the game with a score lower than he gave DCUO which was barely functional when reviewed.
Peeps still give weight to these things?
Does anyone want to place bets on how regardless of reviewers GW2 and TSW will never receive anything lower than an 8 - no matter what. Regardless of their virtues or failures you KNOW they will neveer dip them below 8.
You still really give weight to these things?
In short - do you also give weight to these Cosmo magazine tests "how to tell he really loves you."?
I think the score is pretty close to how I feel about the game. I enjoy it a lot, and would probably give it roughly the same score over all. Right now the one thing keeping it from topping 8 is the lack of some kind of instanced warzones for pve servers. Would be nice to queue up and fight other people as easilly as I can queue up and go stomping through a dungeon.
Aside from that, the game is a blast to play (for me at least). Much like the reviewers here, I have been having more fun in TERA than TOR. Whether or not it will be a long term play for me remains yet to be seen. I felt comfortable snagging a 3 month sub, I easilly see myself getting 4 months enjoyment, I'll re-evaluate then.

Surprising considering the staff did a comparison with GW2 and it seemed to score somewhat higher with the mmorpg.com staff
