I might get chit canned for this but locking http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/309977/Some-worlds-will-be-huge-Alderaan-78-WOW-zones.html that tread without even an explanation? Just lock it now that someone brought it back from the depts? How much idiots are we being taking for? Why just lock it? We can still read it and draw our own conclusions you know.
How often does one have to sell their sole before they convense themselves that money trumps any morality? Please at least pretend this is a neutral website.
Heh, guess it's been a good run guys, see you all on the other side I bet

They generally lock forum posts that have been neckro'd, unless the game has been canceled and the only thing there is are old posts. At least that has been my experience on these forums.
Old posts can provide reference and are useful when proving/disproving what has and hasn't been said. Unless one has somthing to hide that is.
Was kinda interesting to see who was blindly hyped up over the game and see the game for what it is now.
What happens when you log off your characters????.....

Dark Age of Camelot
I agree with you. I thought it was a superb thread and there were good reasons for revisiting it.
Specifically, to compare pre-launch expectations with post-launch realities.
However, it does seem that mmorpg.com - and specifically the community manager - has an interest in protecting SWTOR against comments that they perceive as hostile to its interests.
It was also interesting to see how many posters who reaised quiestions, concerns and worries about the game to be imminently launched are now 'User Deleted'.
We lock necroed threads older than a few weeks or so, give or take . The poster that brought the thread up went on a spree bumping old threads.
While that thread is locked, you can always link to the thread in a new topic covering the same ground if you want to discuss it further, provided there's no currently active thread on the same subject.
