How will a 550ti handle this game

Just wondierng if I should upgrade to something better I'm wiling to settle on lower settings if the FPS sucks.

My 8800gt can run it on average with some fps stutters. You should be fine.

Ye i'm good with it too (have a 550 non ti), but i have a old cpu duo core 3ghz, so if you have a more up to date i think you'll be very good. Also i don't played much with video setting tbh, but at default setting there is zero video lag.

I only seen the min specs on system requirments lab and heard nothing if thie game might be CPU dependent. I just upgraded my CPU to a Bulldozer 6 core.

Ye they said in the beta its cpu dependant, probably won't be as much at release once they optimise it. Aslo it doesn't seam to make much use of many core at this point, thats probably why my "not that good comp" have such a good performance since i have a very quick cpu with very few core core, but honestly that is all you need for most games, they don't usually make much use of many core. So i probably do a lot better than a super up to date comp with low GHZ cpu and a lot of core.

My girlfriend PC is a I5 2300k with a 530gt and runs nicely in High settings everywhere while streaming, without streaming and in ultra settings it loses a bit of performance, so you will be fine.

Game wasnt optimized last weekend, but it should run fine on a 550ti, it is meant to run on below average computers

A bit off topic: May I ask how you played on Ultra settings? I could only play on lowest, everytime I selected Ultra the game reverted back to low after the loading..... Also the game wasn't optimized for the last beta, it was running on CPU without many GPU-specific features so I highly doubt those "Ultra" settings were indeed the game on Ultra. The game on Ultra should look a lot prettier than that

it works well, I ran the game on the highest settings during the stress test

I got 550ti and runs almost everything on max settings (tho I usually lower the shadows since it gives me the extra fps burst)

Since the game wasn't optimized last time I can't tell you how my gpu handled it... but it should run everything on max, or until you come to wvwvw ?
