PvP game?

My friends and I have gone through just about every MMORPG there is out there. What we're looking for is a massive PvP game. The best example of this that we've come across is Shadowbane, we've just played that out is the problem. WoW would be awesome if it was open pvp, or could atleast talk to the horde. So what is a decent open PvP game. I've looked for endless hours online and keep finding PvP games with too many restrictions. Also will DnL have open PvP. I tried to look it up on their forums, but just saw a bunch of people flaming eachother.

Tried EVE? Should be happy with it, if you know where to look.

MMM, we looked at that, looked like a futuristic game with guns, guns ruined WoW for us, if wanted to play with guns we'd go play airsoft of paintball of halo or something.

Lineage 2 is hands down the best PvP out there atm.Its open PvP where ever ya go.If you got the time then this is the game to be playing. You and your friends will have a blast.Kickass graphics and a great PvP system.
Last time i played there were a lot of people who were my biggest targets.Mainly the ones who didnt want to PvP.Too bad should have played something else.
Seriously though the game is just too much fun.PvP anywhere at any time.

We actually played Lineage 2 for about 3 weeks, got to around lvl 20 and then quit. At that point wasn't enough PvP, way too repetative and was just boring. Plus all the koreans with their little bots running around killing and looting everything there was. It may have changed, but I doubt it.

Hmm well beyond that your just gonna have to wait on some games to get released.EvE is a very good game but you need to have longterm goals in it.
You can be a pirate in every sense of the word.Tons of skills lots of ships. No real avatar though. It is truly a skill based game.If you got better skills you will prevail in a fight. If your in a company even better.

Get Mourning - out in a couple of weeks.

NOt all the features are in for release (just like every other mmorpg) but what's there will still be 100% better than anything on the market at the moment. Check out the skill system.

Lots more screenshots have been release now. Check out the site www.realmsofkrel.com and decide for yourself.

Either that or wait for Dark and Light - which will probably be about in 3/4 months.

Nothing else is really worth it atm. IMO of course.

If you had asked me this question 2 years ago I would have replied hands down Dark Age of Camelot. Not so much the RvR (I hate this idea so much), but Mordred. The 8 man competition was incredible with every great guild running 8 mans daily. Now that the sever population has gone way down (due to people leaving to WoW), it's as good as one year ago, but in my opinion it's worth a try if you could find a free trial or something

Youre turning down a great game just because its sci-fi? Thats almost as dumb as saying UO sucks because it has mediocre graphics.

I personally think Darkfall looks promising for PvP, ala UO/SB (yes sb got boring and is played out) Granted, with Darkfall it may be a couple months till beta opens up so, find something to keep you and your friends busy till its out. Just my .02

So I'm dumb for having a preference? Why pay for something which will not appeal to me. It may be the best game ever created, but if I'm not into sci-fi why force myself to play just to have fun. And I did play UO, was a great game.
