Are you trying to say that TSW will have more players than WoW? If so, give me a couple minutes to laugh so hard I pull a muscle.
I speak as someone who is definitely going to play the Secret World and will probably play it for years: There's no chance in hell it'll have more players than WoW.

It's not a sandbox leveling system i.e. you don't improve skills through using them. There is traditional progression, only instead of directly enhancing your characters efficacy, they leave the customization to you.
The crafting isn't sandbox either. You just learn the pattern, get the materials and boom, you're done .
The only truth is in the classless system, which is true, because anybody can be anything at any time; while at first you're restricted heavily, the wheel opens up and you're allowed to access everything as you progress through the game.

i agree, that the skill-system is far away from an open skill-system we know from some old-school sandboxes. the skillsystems is more a kind of themeparkish talentree with multiple branches presented in a wheel. just progression by skills doesnt qualify for sandbox. this is the wrong level of abstraction.
well, this game isnt bad ... but the OP is obviously kidding.
wait... does this mean the devs at Funcom are trolling us?!

There is no such thing as a sandbox leveling system. The basic mechanics have nothing to do with that at all.
Themepark means you progress through quests or DEs, Sandbox means you progress more by interacting with other players or player created content.
You can easily make a good sandbox with TSWs mechanics, you can even make one with Wows game mechanics. And you can make a railroaded themepark with UOs mechanics.

of course you could. but i would not reccommend to do so

This thread is so ridiculous and easy to attack, it seems to be meant to discredit the game instead of support it.
