Most populated F2P MMO right now?

What do you guys think is the most popular F2P MMO right now? I would say either Pefect World or Aion

i would take a guess at something family friendly like maple story.  i also know i remember hearin somewhere that dungeon & fighter has millions of players in china.

RIP Ribbitribbitt you are missed, kid.

A few years back I heard Maplestory was one of the most heavily populated.  I wouldn't be surprised if that's still in the top-5.

    Lineage 2, if you're going for a world-wide population.

US... I could venture to guess but it's probably not worth it.

Hard to tell. Didn't Runescape hold the Guiness record for most popular F2P? Otherwise I'd say check the Nexon games out.

According to your report these are rated the fastest growing games, not the most popular.

If I was to make an educated guess I'd say Lineage 2, Forsaken World, and Perfect World are probably the most popular free games in the world.

I thought Runescape held this honor....

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.

I've never understood why some people are so enthralled with the population of a game....From my experience, it seemed the more populated the game the worse the community was but to each his own.

Pretty sure it's still runescape, they had over 170k concurrent users playing last time I checked the website a couple of weeks ago.

This is true. But the way I look at it sometimes, I usually don't care about population, but at some point you wonder how long it will continue to run. If the game is populated well, then you know it will last quite a bit longer. But if it has a declining population and about 100 people on at all times, then you have to think about if your character will still exist in the coming months.
