Verdict
Diablo 3 lamedrearies are aimed at Spike players at the intentional expense of Johnny and Timmy (and still manage to fail because they are too weak). Therefore buffing them won’t achieve anything unless they become the best items in the game or Spike will still ignore them, and won’t make them any more tactically interesting or bigger so the Johnny and Spike aren’t satisfied either.
This may explain why people NOW claim uniques should be the best, despite advocating the opposite in the past 11.5 years. Only the Spikes want them to be literally the best – the Johnnies and Timmies simply don’t care anymore and have given up on the game after the Great Death Blossom Disillusion and the Why Is My Hero So Weak Disillusion respectively. Their dreams crushed, all that is left is normal difficulty and the rose coloured binoculars pointed at Guild Wars 2. And of course Teemo in your ranked game. Thanks, Blizzard.

Characters from League of Legends. For people that play that game it makes sense as a correlation to the characters and the playstyle the character offers.

From normal all the way to butcher Inferno , once your in Act 2 you got 2 choices , skip the entire act or farm act 1 for goodies , but your better off skipping the whole act 2 and doing act 3.
Solo/party I've had no problems what so ever from starting norm to killing the butcher in inferno ... once in act 2 ... almost felt like uninstalling the game. But that moment will come once TL2 releases , hehe
Well they may be LoL terms, but he DOES explain them right in the article. So those that read should be able to understand.
just for the record, three category system (Johnny/Spike/Timmy) was built by Magic: The Gathering card game developers.

That's the guy who made Median? The mod is very good. While it makes sense for perfect rares to be better than uniques, legendaries shouldn't be so pathetic.

I agreee with his view to an extent. Probably would agree with him more if he would have wrote his article after he came down from his acid trip.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

Being a hardcore D2 player and lol player it totally makes sense, Where are the friggin Bear mages and teleporting paladins, and poison nova necromancers and hydra sorcs and bowazons n javazons...where has the creativity gone?

I think T2 will be out around July but we'll see. I wasn't looking forward to that game until I was disappointed with D3 and watched a couple of beta videos, looks pretty good. It's by some of the old Blizzard North guys too so...
Yeah, he's the one that made that mod. I loved his items with all the "chance to spawn" and things like that, very creative. D3 items are just sad in comparison, not even as good as D2.
D3 is just a disappointment, where's all the creativity? Where are the items? Where are the numerous prefixes and suffixes? Where's D3? This isn't it.

Brother Laz is an odd cat but he knows his stuff.
