Poll: If there was a sub .. would you have cancelled by now?
LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already

Nope. And I'm sure a lot of people saying yes are those that didn't even buy the game. Either way it doesn't matter, I love it, there's tons of people playing and it's the fastest selling PC game of all time!
You'd honestly pay monthly for it? Or are you just saying that to spite the folks you've likely been arguing with since release day?

I believe he's saying he woulnd't pay a sub for it, but since he doesn't have to he's rather enjoying the game and it would seem many others are as well.
"Nope" applies to "No, I wouldn't have cancelled by now".
I voted poopsocks (j/k, didn't buy it).

No I would not, it's something i'd open up when i'm bored as it has little replay value, not something i'd pay $15 a month to have access to tbh.
I would sub to it over any MMO out right now and I'd rather sub to it than buy GW2. I like ARPGs and this one does have legs. It jsut needs work on itemization, drop rates and class balance in inferno. They got the combat and classes right, which is something POE could learn from.
If it would have required a sub i would never have bought it in the first place. Also the game is not "sub worthy" imo as when you finish the game then that's pretty much it, you've seen everything it had to offer.
Sure you can do higher difficulties but all that does is up the damage numbers and gear stats and give some pretty new abilities to mobs. The story and pretty much the rest of the game aswell stays the same so it doesn't really justify a sub as you don't get anything new to do.
Unless ofcourse they do add stuff with a sub tacked on then i might be more interested.
I think D3 is a great game and I've had great fun with it, but I answered yes in the poll since it just does not have the scope and size I'd expect from a game that has a monthly fee, also, I'd expect content patches with the monthly fee, something that D3 does not have since it's not an MMO game.
It has nothing to do with the quality of the game, also I dont think this is a good way to measure anything when it comes to singleplayer/coop games because people who loves the game will vote "against" it simply because singleplayer games are not really comparable to MMO's when it comes to payment models, continuation, size, systems/mechanics/structure etc.
PoE could learn a few things (not many), but for the sheer size of the projects compared to the results, PoE is a 8/10 compared to a 5/10.
Why would i pay monthly for a game that's not a MMO?
Sure the game has a AH and a 4 player co-op feature but to get my money you need a persistent world.
Playing: Nothing
Looking forward to: Nothing
A sub in a game that isn't an MMO?
Wouldn't of bought it in the first place.

Always hating on instances in MMOs! Open worlds, open PvP, territory control and housing please. More persistence, more fun.
I would have subbed just to see the latest CGI eye candy from Blizzard.
It would also mean Blizzard will keep on adding content to D3 which would be awesome!

What a stupid poll.
RMAH means Blizzard have a long term cash generator that's far more profitable than subs, in a game that isn't an MMO. Don't worry, they're going to be making plenty of money, and as a result hopefully adding plenty more content.
But yeah paying a sub in Diablo would be even more retarded than the raiders who pay a sub to play only non-MMO content in WoW.

Thisa poll is pointless. It's like asking if you would buy GW2 if it was a space game or if it had a sub. It's something that didn't and couldn't happen.
they'll most likely ride the coattails of the RMAH, rake in the money and randomly make content for the game over the next few years, ala expansions, gotta make that money.
I answered yes only because there was no option for people that would not have purchased the game to begin with had there been a sub. As to frodos comments on GW2, I feel I have gotten more entertainment out of 3 beta weekends than I have out of the month I have owned D3. Maybe the game will shape up after an expansion I dunno, but Blizzard has lost their magic n my eyes and as the game is now it's BORING and no way would I pay for a sub.
RIP Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan and Paul Gray.
This. I voted poopsocks.
I've already stopped playing. I was beyond bored in nightmare, but for some reason played 75% through hell before pulling the plug. I can honestly say there is no point to play the game. I LOL at my friends thinking their going to make money on the AH, and continue to put hours and hours of farming into the game.
You got to be completely gullible to think you'll make anything on the AH. AH will be dominated by farmers who are specialists in the trade - bot-running networked farmers using cheap labor. Uber-loot is going to cost, like, $0.05.
That's what I said. I'll get a good laugh when they tell me how much they suddenly "hate" the game when they realize this.
If a sub meant content updates then I'd definately be on board.
^^ I would in a heartbeat
Large bats... but I don't understand why you asked.
