I didn't really know much about Nexon before playing Vindictus. After spending about a year and a half with Vindictus I've decided to never touch another game Nexon has their hands on.
Nexon NA is the worst company I've ever dealt with. This is including phone companies like AT&T. If you have any problems with your account, expect your issue to take at the minimum 6 months to resolve (that's how long it takes them to get to your ticket) and sometimes they won't ever resolve it.
They wont' do any kind of account restoration if you've been scammed/hacked. In fact, even if it's their screwup (database corruption for login) they won't fix it so you have to make a new account. There was a gigantic hack wave last year where after keeping silent for months they finally came out and said that their databases were compromised and large number of accounts had everything stripped. As compensation they gave some people $100 worth of NX points, despite the fact that most of those players have spent years on their games and probably spent 10x that amount purchasing NX. Of course, their accounts were not restored either.
Their games are also the epitome of Pay2Win, as people spending thousands of dollars on the game will have significant advantages over those who don't.

Just an FYI guys. NCsoft only acts as a publisher and provides support for the game. Anet has control over what goes into the cash shop.
My theme song.
I, for one, welcome our new Nexonian overlords.
Enter a whole new realm of challenge and adventure.
