En Masse v Frogster

As the name implies I'm in the UK

It was time for the montlhy sub decision - yes or no. But in reality the decision had been made a while ago - by Frogster. I'd read other peoples comments about this company when it was first announced they where publishing Tera EU, but believing that people often exaggerate for effect I decided to give it a try.

Simply awful - the past month has seen a catalogue of ineptitude I haven't experienced in all the mmo's played over the years, (and ignoring the enchanting exploit, which was Bluehole's issue).

Players are asking Bluehole to get rid of Frogster in favour of En Masse for the EU..........so, the question is - what's the general opinion of how En Masse are running the US version?

Frogster its a fraudster and its sad that bh gave that great title to that messy company for eu customers

solution: Buy the NA edition and play on EnMasse's servers.

Honestly dont understand why people are bitching so much. The servers work perfectly for me, smooth gameplay ever since launch, and you cant blame frogster for ingame flaws.

There was this issue with billing, but other than that theres nothing i can complain.

En Masse vs Frogster, i guess when you can't compare on positives you just have to make the decision based on the least negatives..  sounds more like the Ogres choice though..

Well I wanted to but the game (I'm from EU) but I'm not so sure. I heard a lot of negative feedback about Frogster.

Here's the thing; when everything is going fine, and you don't run into any issues, it's easy to put up with Frogster's ineptitude and shoddy customer supprt. The servers work fine, billing has been sorted out, etc. Why complain? Well, the problem is when a year from now, after you spent tons of time and money developing your character, something happens...say a deleted item, or a hacked password. It's at that point where you are really going to see the difference between Frogster and En Masse, and it's at that point where it matters most. 

Is En Masse any better that Frogster? Unequivocally, yes. Just browse the interenet for a while to read the horror stories of dealing with Frogster support (complete with screen shots) then take a look at what people are saying about En Masse. The GMs at En Masse are awesome. They are super friendly and helpful. Why reward a bad company like Frogster? If latency is a worry, sign up for the free 7 day trial and give the US servers a shot first.

@ OP: Just play safe and go to EnMasse. I was Frogster's customer for 2 years, everything was fine and awesome in first 6 six months. Rest is history. Avoid them. If you don't care about your money and how u spend it, go on.

Joking aside I am an avid warner of Frogsters customer service. The moment I found out 2 different companies were handling english versions I knew i needed to try and warn players.

Frogsters is the WORST large gaming company. Sure to you its an opinion. To me its a FACT.
