It can really only be loosely termed an MMO, with the gameplay segmented as it is, and no real unified world design.
GW2 easily tops WoW, and every other themepark, for EZ-mode play. I think the euphemism being used today is "convenient". It's a convenient game, in that everything is so streamlined, it has no soul, and requires no effort to play.
GW2 is the amalgamation of all the worst aspects of modern MMO gaming.
That's funny and shows personal preferences quite well. I'd easily put GW2 at my top MMO.
It's finally a true MMO, unlike the predecessor, which has had the foresight to segments the PvP and PvE portions of the game to foster a better community feel in PvE while providing enough varied PvP for most everyone.
GW2 easily tops all other MMOs for challenging play, especially in the hard mode dungeons. You never outpower a zone such that you can faceroll it... any mobs in the game can kill you no matter your level. It has a deep, MMORPG based soul and still requires focused effort to play.
GW2 is the amalgamation of the best aspects of modern MMO gaming, all improved and combined into a greater whole.

Anti-troll trolling is a sophisticated form of trolling.
