Probably the reason I could never be a teacher, if I was that bus monitor I would've most likely grabbed the nearest blunt object and kicked the crap out of those children. I have to admire her for just ignoring them, she deserves better nevertheless, my heart goes out to her.

I re-posted this on my facebook page, emailed this video to my email contacts, tweeted it (though I don't have any followers, hopefully it is still seen), sent it to Jesse Cox from OMFGcata (even though he does game videos), sent it to RayWilliamJohnson and shared it on his facebook page and re-posted it on The Escapist.

 

I could not get past 30 seconds of this video and I've seen some rather disgusting videos and trailers. Heck, I could watch the whole human centipede trailer and to me, this was more horrible. Its because this is real.

 

Please everyone, re-post and send it to as many people as you can. This poor lady could end up driven to suicide, if it is bad enough or even gets worse.

Kids these days are going to doom the future generation. There is seriously wrong with them, and society won't let us smack them as needed... and yes, they act this way simply because you can't put hands on them anymore.

Allow parents to beat their children again.

I can understand the children's bad behavior since some of them are at an age where they're just entering adulthood so they treated the weaker adult (test subject) as a peer at their level and not at her level which is what maturity will bring them.

She could of asserted her adult authority over them by ordering them to follow her command - any command such as be quiet, sit down, eyes front, etc. would of worked so long as she was ademant that they follow it.  She would of had to of done it early on to avoid this, but then she's a grandmother and she probably related to the children as a grandmother early on which probably set all of this in motion since she's not their grandmother so they don't have to respect her or face the wrath of their own parents.

This is what you get when you put a non authoritative   adult together with burgeoning adults in a small space.

How do you know those children aren't beaten at home?

Studies indicate that a child is more prone to this sort of behavior if they are abused at home.

You're talking about a dozen middle school kids from middle class new york.  You're telling me that none of them had the notion to understand right from wrong?  I'm not trying to argue with the whole abused kids are themselves abusers.  I'm saying that there weren't just one or two kids there, it was at least 6 and you can't tell me that children from liberal middle class new york are in the demographic typically represented in "abuse' studies.  That is the product of indescriminate beatings or spanking without boundaries being set.

These kids knew right from wrong and knew that there would be absolutely no consequences for their actions.  In the end, consequence does not have to equal beating.  However, 12 and 13 year old boys ALWAYS understand the belt, other punishments and rewards often are forgotten or misinterpreted.

I'm pointing out that you are making two assumptions that you have no way of knowing whether they are correct or not and one of those assumptions goes against what studies in this area are showing.

I'm sure they did know right from wrong just as you knew right from wrong with that thing you did when you were a kid that went against your parents teachings - did that mean that you had bad parents?  Did that mean that they didn't hit you hard enough?  And don't tell me you've never did anything behind their back while you were out with your friends or girlfriends or boyfriends because EVERY kid that ever existed did at least one thing that their parents wouldn't of liked - it's a part of growing up and becoming your own person; infact, I'm sure you've done at least something that you yourself were not fully comfortable  with at some point in your life but you did it just the same didn't you?

I'm equally sure that most of them are shocked by what they said and did and if it was their grandparent that faced that abuse they'd be furious about it.

Also, the middle class is rife with all sorts of problems that contribute to child abuse - it just doesn't spill out onto the front lawn and is kept tightly behind closed doors.
