Senior producer Brian Knox was on reddit yesterday and answered or commented on tons of posts from people there.

Basic news I gathered is that they're going to get warrior's to queue to tank before the new changes to block first as a priority sometime in July and implementing the rest of the Ktera patch (battlegrounds, more content) up to and including around September/August.

Loads of comments about the game, but not too much new information that I could gather if you follow the game.  He did say that the game definitely did not have 700k subs as was rumored, but "maybe someday".

Robotsonik posted some of the more interesting ones on the main forums, including this one:

Q: F2P?
Knox: "Tough one to start out? The game started development in 2007 when subscription based games were going strong. If we had to go back and do it over again I think we would have tried to find a way to be more 'free to play' than subscription. One baby step we have taken is opening up 7 days trials to get people to try TERA out without an upfront cost.
The complete switch from sub to F2P is something we have been looking at for a while but it takes a good amount of development time to make this change and right now we are focused on getting fun content out."Follow up/clarification by Brian Knox: ""We have a free trial right now but no current plans for free to play.

Basically the game should be much better by the end of the summer, which was stated all along, but I was hoping for a little earlier (Battlegrounds especially- the awesome combat system is begging for more PVP).  I got an item stolen in endgame through abuse of loot rules mechanics (which he said will be fixed very soon, which is good), which really turned me off to endgame, and running an alt can only last so long.

He did mention possible seiges and stuff like that in a year's time, but that was more of a "that would be really great for the game" kind of thing and I don't think there's any definite plans.
