Problem with PayPal: Anyone got an answer?

in Secret World Legends

Trying to pre-order the game using paypal and they simply are not taking my money. I really would love them to take my money and give me access to the game. So I contacted chat-support and told them my problem and they told me there is a problem with paypal and that I needed a paypal specialist to help me out so I have to contact them. Waiting for an answer from them, but wondering if more poeple have had problems and if they got a responce from Funcom regarding this.

    might be some issue with paypal

     

    I had tried a week back to take 1 month sun for SWTOR and I entered my paypal id

    Its said it will take 1 hour for verification 9 strange as i have verified id)

     

    The verification never came neither the denial came so I decided to wait a few days and see nothing so far

    then just lost interest in SWTOR and didnt want to resub

    can't say i've ever had problems with paypal, as long as your account is verified and either has the funds in it, or is backed up by a verified credit/debit card then payments should be problem free, i use paypal a lot, mostly because i don't like giving my credit card details out online anymore..image

    I have it connected to my bank account as I canceled my CC. It works with everything and PayPal simply takes the money from my bank directly. Using that for months now and never had a problem with it. However it might be this does not work for pre-approved payments? Doubt so as paypal even allowed me to select it as a secondary payment method for the pre-approved  payments.

    if its linked to your bank account then it can take days, and paypal will refuse to release the money until they are able to access it successfully themselves, which will cause a transaction to fail with the vendor referring you back to paypal, the only way around this is to 'charge up' your paypal account beforehand, as it can take a day or 3 for the money to reach paypal from your bank account, either that or have it backed up by either a credit or debit card... image

    Actually with every transaction so far it has been instant. By connecting it to my bank it worked just like having a CC connected to it. Anyhow seems the payment finially gone trough.

    I've had the same problem when I pre-ordered yesterday. It kept saying I needed to pay, but I had already did. Though It still gave me access to the game, enough for me to know that I didn't like it. This morning I got an email saying Paypal declined the transaction. Thank God! Now that I saw the game, I decided to actually not buy it.

    If you want to fuck up your eyes, this game is the way to go. The text is horrible! Small and blurry, you have to squint your eyes to see and I have a 1950x1080 res.

    Oh well, time to move on for me :)

    Yeah changing the text size is hard, good thing you won't make it to the in-game puzzles...

    Good thing the game has built in wowtard filters :)
