    Closed beta is yet to commence, as for open beta (as far as I know) no such plans have been announced. Since open beta is employed as a marketing tactic to sell boxed copies or DDs of a game client, they may not have one.

    My guess would be closed beta is probably within the next couple of weeks, open.. Who knows, the game is a long way off.. They need to finish off the second continent and get to work on the third, unless they are planning a really long open beta phase it could be a while.
