I was curious looks like a epic solo player game in the makings of swtor .....
I love the adult theme and present day theme and not fantasy of sorts.....
I hope all went well , Let me know if this is worth picking up or waiting a couple of months ...

no LFG tool so grouping might be a problem if u r DPS
Bestest launch in my memory

I am glad ,sucks no lfg why do dev do that boggles the mind hope everyone who plays has a great experience.
They do that because this community right here bitched and moaned about it when wow did it. The devs did it because this community right here doesn't know what its talking about or what makes a good game.
most people don't know what they want.
yes, I took the "most" out of my ass.
I had no problems or bugs.
I'm almost done with Kingsmouth.
I grouped about 4 different times with people that happened to be in the area.
I have to admit, that's where the game shined for me. With 1 or 2 other people, we made quick work of the areas we
were in. It was a lot slower going with my build going solo. (Dragon: sword and elemental)
It's not about fighting, it's about balance. It's not about enlightenment, it's about balance. It's not about balance.
Extremely smooth launch. Most of the missions are working but I ran into exactly 2 that were bugged so far. Gameplay is smooth. I am running on DX 11 with Ultra High settings and not lag at all.
As noted, they do not have a LFG tool but they do have something very cool. Cross dimension friend locator. Basically, since it is one massive server with you picking your primary dimension (Shard I guess is the best way to look at it), you can rally friends from any dimension to join you or you join them. Olny PVP is faction specific so it should not be too hard to find a few friends to group with.
Also, I am noticing a trend that most of the DPS players have some healing so can play healing back up wich makes them more valuable to a group. Also, once you have progressed enough you can have multiple builds to server the roles required for a group. What you have focused on (DPS, Tank, Healer) only matters in the earlier part of the game before you have built up a wide enough variety of skills.
For instance, my Dragon character uses Fist weapons/ blood magic right now and even though he is not done in the first area he can be DPS, healer, or a hybrid between the two. He can switch roles mid-session of a dungeon if he needs too.
No issues at all with the game performacne wise or bug wise other than one bugged mission..
As for grouping up i found it quite easy really.. sometimes asked in chat for a team and soon found one.. othertimes just started helping someone randomly and we formed a group.. othertimes people hanging aronud mission areas..
It was a lot more fun in a group and there seems to be a lot more drops..
Anyway i guess its upto you how you play, you can do a lot of the content solo but you will be missing out on the harder stuff.
To sum it up for me this is the best themepark MMO out there..
SOunds great I almost got this game but with aa and gw2 coming soon I didnt think Id have time to play all of those but if those games have epic failure ..Its good to know theres a back up
AA as in archage? You do realise your not going to see that in the west for at least 2 years...
As for GW2 i could not get on with that i got bored really fast.. but if your into your fantasy themepark MMORPGs then its a very good option
Ive also notice on the green part of the ability wheel 9those skills are not weapon based and can be sued with any build or weapon) that they do offer a self heal. That means that if your a straight DPS build...meaning you dont use a life leech weapon or have a barrier or other form of "heal" associated with your weapon, your always able to slap that skill on your hotbar and be somewhat self sufficiant with heals.
Havent tried it yet, since blood magic is very popular and that weapon offers heals and damage barriers. A good tank seems to be the hardest to find, i mean people can tank and will tank but sometimes if your DPS is too much youll need to lay off a bit. Only has resulted in one death for me in a dungeon but i can see that being a huge deal later on with more serious bosses.
Also i absolutely love the dungeons in this game. Your not spending 30min clearing trash mobs. Kill a boss, move on to the next one, there might be a few mobs along the way but nothing more than a pull or two.
Theres also a LOT of bosses in the dungeons, its like all bosses with a few trash mobs. Each boss gets a bit harder in terms of the dance you need to do and its HP and aoe effects. First boss is like a tank n spank and is killed quick usually and the last requires some working knowledge on whats going on.
As DPS i havent had to spam more than 5 times in LFG chat (more should use this for its purpose) before i found a group.
Absolutely amazing game.
I agree with you on AA but as for Tsw is gives me shivers of swtor. Swotor was a amazing solo game but when it came to grouping, and what to do after you hit level it just failed and now is paying the price.....So steerring away from it now but if in a month or more it is killing the charts and has a positve pop then prob give it a shot..yes thts shallow but blame it on swtor.
