Yet you assumed he wasn't on a trial account. You don't need to assume anything, if you didn't want to help him you might as well not answer instead of trying to be a smartass, the answer you gave him was as good as none.

On the contrary my friend.  The piece of advice I game him was one of the best pieces of advice anyone could ever give him:

To avoid the mmorpg forums like a plague.

The in-game community is quite helpful - whether openly or through whispers. Encouraging him to engage the community is far more positive thatn encouraging anyone to haunt these halls of madness.  Granted, I didn't know he had no access to chat.  That's unfortunate. But it happens.

Still, you can white knight a cause that does not exist, but better advice that relying on any other source of information than this site is the kindest thing I could do for anyone.  Me, I consider myself a missionary.  Preaching for the lost souls in forsaken lands.  Someone must sacrifce. =)

Hmm? So your advice is to tell him to avoid the mmorpg forums instead of answering his question. What if he came to enjoy these forums instead, then your advice would've been the worst piece of advice?:) Because to be honest these forums are pretty entertaining.

You really need to find a new hobby, forum pvp isn't for you.

Many of us enjoy it here and find some of the posters helpful.

If you look carefully you'll see that you in fact are part of the problem, not the solution.

I both enjoy it, and try to be helpful when it's deserved... but you seem to be way better at both through some kind of passive-aggressive superpowers. I want lessons.

So it was put in to give people a taste of when the game really pick up (at lvl 20 when you fight you first BAM and dungeon.) and let me tell you if you were dying on the prologue boss you be dying much much more on the BAM until you learn to dodge.

And also Tera is very different its understandable that you had trouble with it as some one who isn't a custom to the game, however its there to show you what the game is. It give you a taste of what the game will be like later on, and if you bother to pay attention to the quest (i know most don't) it links with all the other quest. Also unawarding? Seriously man? you play any game at all? So many of them have you start off as something all powerful than loss all your shit when the game really start. Its been done to death by god knows how many game and your suprised? Do you return games coz what ever you did in the tutoral didn't get moved to the game once it started?

Sorry I am new to TERA. .What is bam? I am lvl 13

Ask in-game.  People will happily tell you because its a question everyone had at some point.  And avoid these forums like the black plague.

... trail account has no chat ..... thx for your helpful answer

BAM is abbreviated for Big Ass Monster, these are monsters with a high hp pool and strong attacks that have greater rewards but are tougher to kill, usually people party up but some BAMs could be soloed if you dodge and use your skills right. You will find these monsters on the level 20+ zones and are often part of high exp yielding quests, though usually not worth it solo.

    thank you very much.
