You are in for a real treat there.

i have yet to run into any side mission that required me to have anything.. or should I say I have yet to run into a side mission a could not take so no clue what you are talking about

Then can assume that you have not done every quest.

From the obvious missions that are locked if you have not done a quest earlier, which in turn not always end in the same area as the mission is done in/take part in. For instance "Something Wicked" in Kingsmouth unlocks a mission in Savage Coast.

I have up until now picked up two side missions from solo instances that are opened form an active main mission. Hence making it only possible to take those missions if you are on that particular main mission.

One mission that you can't resolve is the "Tango and Cash" mission from the Scrapyard in Kingsmouth. Now it may be resolved as others are starting the event that enables you to complete the side mission, if not you have to take the main mission to start the attack on the scrapyard.

nevermind misread either way I finished every single quest in kingsmouth and about half of savage garden now and have not found this an issue once.

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg

when I say "side mission" i thought you were talking the ones lying around on the streets or objects siting on a table..ect. I see those as side missions. Ones given by NPC's I don't consider side missions as they all are story oriented.

I think with "side missions" we are talking about the same thing.

I really dont remember the name of the quests now.

But for instance, in Kingsmouth, you get a main mission that you are to use homemade bombs. The main mission is given by the NPC that gives the crafting tutorials just outside the police station. In the last tier you go down in the sewers. There you will find a side mission, that if I remember sends you to the morning camp, and to get  this side mission you have to be doing that main mission.

Perhaps you done this and remembers it now.

With Tango and Cash, not the mission where you walk with the dog that mission have another name, on the side of the bus there is a  side mission where you should compete with the two dogs and their number of kills. And to be able to do that you or someone else have to be doing the main mission, given from the NPC in the scrapyard, so the event for the attacks on the scrapyard starts.

Well, supoosedly/perhaps you could run down to the harbor within those 8 minutes to kill 15 of each aswell.

How many of this situations there are in the whole game I don't know, perhaps I have stumbled upon all of them. (Anyway I like this interdependent thing, how small it may seem.)

It is not an issue for me, but it would be a treat and I directed that to the OP.

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.
