The easiest game to play for free!

HeroEvermoreHeroEvermore Member Posts: 672

I have been able to purchase 6 months of chronoscrolls on this game in 6 days. I am spending money on other things as well. If this game ever goes free to play. I will have a "gold" account most likely. Run GL. Sell everything. Go to sleep. Wake up with an average of 500g per GL run you did. Chronoscrolls sell on Celestial Hills for 1500g every day. 3 GL runs. Pretty simple. Enjoy.

I will be stacking a year on this account. The combat is that good in this game. This way if I do explore other games. I can always come back for free :D Chronoscroll is the best thing to happen to an end game farmer in this game.

Thanks En Masse. <3

I can easily stack a year on an account in 2 weeks. Pretty silly. I love silly.

Yeah pretty much everyone who doesn't want to spend money on a sub has already bought chronoscrolls, and the crazy thing is they are dropping in price still.

I can run a hardmode and have something worth like 7k drop, I sell that and woop I have 4 months of playtime in chronoscrolls in one dungeon run, pretty funny.

For the non-initiated.. Care to explain what are those chronoscrolls and how the concept of buying game time works ?

Chronoscrolls are in game item that when used give 30 days of playing time.

You can buy/trade them from other players or auction house.

Forgot to explain where the scrolls come from:

Scrolls can be bought with real money. You can then trade them for in-game currency. It's similar to a system called PLEX that EVE online has been using to great effect for years.

What is this RL you speak off, could a trial account make it to a full acount so it never has to spent a penny ? More information people. Are these scrolls sold by people who got them for real money. If so. Why don't they increase theyr sell price if its so easy to farm gold to buy them ?

No you cant go from trial to full. You have to purchase the game still. But you can after wards during the 30 free days they give you when you purchase the game. So you can in a sense never pay for the subscription. But you still have to buy the game. The reason they are so cheap in gold is because there are so many of them at the moment, they just came out. So there are tons of them on the market. Simple supply/demand.

You purchase a Chrono Scroll from En Masse for $15 (can only purchase 2 per week).

You cannot trade Chrono Scrolls, only sell them through the Trade Broker (Auction House).

Yesterday they were selling for about 1500 gold in Valley of Titans.

1350 In Dragonfall and still going lower.
    t12 weapon still around 7000

It gets REALLY tempting to buy more than the six I have. Might if they dip below 1000 or if the trend starts creeping over 2k.

That's crazy. That means somebody bought six months of game time, and sold it for in game gold, that would take roughly six to ten hours of game time to make. Even if it took 20 hours of game time it would be worth it. Well, if you actually like the game.

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

Yeah got another chrono today for 900g on celestial hills. Stacked to 1st quarter or 2013 now. I will probably stop at a year since realistically I do not last much longer in a game. Though im defiantely going to be checking in with this game for that long. Especially now that it is free in a sense. Way more buy to play then other games with cash shops. This games cash shop is just asthetic so it has never bothered me.

Is there any word on end-game updates? I've been toying around with coming back.

Yeah they said last night the berserker change is coming towards the end of the month. Which was part of queens of argon patch 1. Queens of argon patch 2 would hopefully come soon after and thats the new dungeons/end game. As well as the lancer/warrior changes. So there is a lot of stuff coming. Tomorrow they are patching in the random dungeon finder bonus rewards. Thank goodness because there wasn't much incentive for a 60 with his tier 12 to run FoK or BT anymore. So Im happy. Eagerly awaiting the Berserker class since that's what i play.

    Been answered already: No.

You have to buy the game client, bare minimum.

~but the whole market on them is surprising the hell out of me. Someone out there is literally spending a small fortune just to avoid grinding gold. I think it likely has to do with vanarch elections.
