I didn't get that feeling from playing the BWE's. I don't get why there are so many troll posts lately in this forum. I can see why I stopped visiting here 8 years ago.

This genre in general is exceptionally difficult to sustain balance in, and Anet, Blizzard, Mystic, or anyone else you can think of who has tried have all failed to some extent.  This is testament to the difficulty of the task, not the capability of the devs.  The bottom line is, if you are one of the players good enough to understand imbalance, then you either exploit it or find a counter for it.  If you are a casual PvPer complaining about imbalance, then you are probably just losing to better  or smarter players.  No one likes to lose, but someone always has to.

I've been running balancedway in GW1 while all the cool kids loaded up gimmicks from PvX to cheese their way through HA.  Sometimes we can counter it by being better players, yes, but some gimmicks were pretty much unbeatable (shitway on that GvG hall that people pick if they can't split).  If it took years for Anet to realize that computer controlled opponents in GvG is a BAD IDEA, how long do you think it will take for them to produce a balanced game?

Let's not mention the fact that Anet doesn't know how to approach the real problem.  A certain Paragon build broken in PVP?  Anet nerfs Paragons to the ground to the point that they are only used as troll builds in RA.

Hell, even Blizzard figured out that being able to sustain invulnerability is a bad thing, and Anet took forever to nerf SF.  What gives?

No doubt GW2 will be a great game, but if they want to entice us competitive PVPers to their structured matches, we want to see the game balanced.

EDIT:  Balance is more important in this game since they seem to want to grab the e-sport fellows - you know, the ones who aren't casual.  The ones who may or may not have been in a certain guild that had a name about consuming writing utensils, and they were very yummy.  Look it up.

You should at least spell check your post (maybe even put some punctuation in there) before you call people out for being stupid and retarded.

If it will take til 6 months after launch for those posts to appear that would be a huge accomplishment, the biggest success in mmo history if not the history of the whole interwebz, usually that only takes 1 week tops.

Why don't people read the thread? is everyone posting here that mentally challenged they can't see what it is?

Every serious reply makes me lose a braincell.

Is derailing a troll thread a crime?

Even though the op is a troll why do people hate the game so much? I have never seen so many trolls saying "this game will fail" before in any game.

Aww. You pointed out my lovely foot note. At least it wasn't the first reply in. ^_^

Some one who understands the meaning of the post and the cycle of MMO games! I'll give it 2 weeks then.

Since my point is listed in my first post. I'm interested to see the replies of people who don't see my lovely foot note or perhaps what interesting discussions leads on from it. :)

It happens as any game is close to release, happened with SWTOR, TERA, TSW and all games before that, a lot of the games have actually failed too so expect the hatred towards this game to get even worse, you can also expect those in love with it to get even more fanatical about defending it.

OP, it seems that your post is still not obvious enough. Why not end your next one with a very clearly understandable 'I'm trolling you! Didn't you get that! OMG! ' disclaimer. I'm genuinely curious how many readers then would still  take your post seriously :)

Yeah, it's a joke, but it's also a lightning rod. Locking.
