Why I no longer play AO

I can no longer get Clicksaver to work.  Plain and simple, the game is not enjoyable without clicksaver as far as I am concerned.  You would think after 11 years that clicksaver functionality would just be built into the game.  The devs are aware that everyone has been using clicksaver for ages, if it was built into the game you'd reduce the risk of all kinds of security issues associated with running a 3rd party app.  <sigh>  R.I.P. Funcom and AO.

For those of us that are uninitiated, what exactly is Clicksaver?

Yeah, they pretty much are actually.  Very low population on AO, the game is pretty much dead.  For the uninitiaited clicksaver is a program that allows you see the reward for the missions that you generate instead of having to read through a wall of text and requiring people to open every single mission to get the same information.  In any case, the game for me is unenjoyable without clicksaver, perhaps it is for a few thousand others too.

I wouldnt mind coming back to AO but it seems pointless now that GW2 launch is just over a month away, I havent been playing regularly since SL came out and ruined the game...

If i can remember correctly ( i never used it way back when i played but a lot did) the instance mission generator terminal gives a random reward, and has several slider bard to customized  what type of mission youll get.

Clicksaver keeps clicking it untill you get the reward you want.

Was actually one of the charms with this game back in the day.  Sometimes you would get a quest with a crap reward, hit next a few times then bam...something awesome and you would take that mission no matter how far off into bumblefuck it took you.

Clicksaver would basically bruteforce the mission terminal untill it gave you the mission you wanted where you wanted it and the exact reward you wanted (again if im not mistaken)
