Howdy, Stranger!

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

He resubbed and is happy. I never left but the mergers were a Hit.

I was on a break from SWTOR after my server went completely dead today I've decided to re-sub and check out what's new on the game..

After transferring my entire legacy to the nightmare lands I must tell you it;s amazing.. like a new game.

now on mid-dayevening there are over 250 ppl on both fleets + many more on flashpointsplanets etc.. PVP is great and you can get WZ every 2 minute...

The improvement made to the game by new high population of players is just great.

If someone is un-sure about re-sub I highly recommend to do it ASAP.

Tonight for few hours I've had loads of fun on evening full of pvp... time between warzones is 2-3 minutes. EVEN TEAMS! a just number of wins to each side based on skill and teamwork. Also each WZ you get at least 4-5 new players on each team so if on previous game a player is marked for being an healer such a thing will not happen.

I've also taken some time to list items on GTN (from what I understand it's now 1 gtn for all players on both sides).. I've had over 2 sales in 2 hours + the gtn is full with mats and rare items which were not obtainable before the migration.

Just because it's busy on a merged server doesn't make it a good game.

Don't you think a busy server can make a big difference? The OP clearly enjoys the game and its likely that people who liked SWTOR before the servers emptied will enjoy it too.

Exactly. Considering that the majority of the endgame content requires grouping then I would say  having servers with people on them is a big deal.

The OP wasn't saying the game is perfect, just that he enjoys it a lot more now that there are people to play with. Some people just can't stand ANY positive comments when it comes to a game they hate.

    Currently Playing: World of Warcraft

Glad people are able to have fun with the mergers. It still doesn't fix the core problems with the game for me, so I'm not pursuaded to resub back. Glad they finally gave mergers to those loyal to them though, it was much needed.

I resubbed for 1.3.  I've recently unsubbed just as fast.  Why?  Because I hopped on my level 40 Gunslinger and hopped into an LFG so I could get some levels under my belt via Flashpoints and Heroics.  LFG didn't pop once in about 2 hours of playtime.  I did this about every other day for a week.  At Prime Time. On a very populated server, Prophecy of the Five or whatever it's called.  Saw plenty of LFG invites and people running past in fleet, the problem was my level I think.  Too many people at level cap and there I sat wishing I could catch up.

This is an issue due to the game's linearity.  It severely limits where I can go and what I can do to level.  My solo questing by the way had already been finished by level 40 and new quests were 42+ and quite difficult solo, hence why I wanted to get into some group activities.  Never happened.  Population is not this game's problem.

At level 40, as DPS?  I'm not lying, why would I bother?  It happened to me, but you obviously think that since it didn't happen to you, it can't possibly happen at all to someone else, right?

"If someone is un-sure about re-sub I highly recommend to do it ASAP."

He sure does repeat that phrase a lot. I guess the budget for viral marketing has been cut too and outsourced to Asia. I'm joking of course.

Interesting since I figured people would be likely rerolling new toons to experience all the different choices in different classes. So either everyone has done all the stories and or watched them all on Youtube or no one gives a flying Vhork.

Hmmm, i never had problems finding a group except a couple times it took about 15 minutes, but i suppose it could happen, in certain areas just never happened to me and I played before the server merge

2 threads by the same person promoting the game.  Am I allowed to say I think this person is a shill or will I get tied up by mmorpg.com red tape.
