Doh! They ignored my request to be on the Hero's Council! I used to play Gemstone back when it was on AOL. For a short time anyways... my mom saw that first AOL bill before AOL went to unlimited time for a flat fee. And then I played GS3 for quite a while after that as well. Gemstone ROCKS! But I stopped playing right before GS4.
In any event I'm a high officer of my current guild which consists of 100+ people and they didn't even accept my request
I'm trying to get a solid core group of players to switch to HJ... I know others will follow. My guild is looking to spread into another game to become a multi-game guild. HJ is at the top of my list but Roma Victor is up there as well.

I'm really excited about the publicity Simutronics is getting right now. I left Gemstone basicly because I wanted graphics. I am so excited about HJ right now. You guys better not nerf the PvP though. I used to love jumping from the shadows with my rogue to decapitate the snert that was mouthing off to my in game nephew. Sheesh some people have no respect!
Shouldn't you be whipping the game devs right now?
I mean... really... tell them we want the game released on July 1st. And not an incomplete version either. I want the completed version. In fact, how about tomorrow?
Another way to be guaranteed a beta spot is to be a playing member of one or more other Simutronics games when beta comes out. Of course they will probably not be fooled if you are in the Free Trial period a few days beforehand.
Everybody always complains about the forums but they are mostly just different. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to navigate to what you want to see. In fact the most annoying part of navigating the forums is the sheer volume of complaint threads about the forums.
Best advice for navigating - find the category of discussion you want to see. Then collapse all (in fact, make this the default setting), and browse by thread name or date as you prefer. Most of the threads in HJ section aren't more than 6 months old so I usually browse by thread name. Hope that helps.

Beta will open later this year. Live will launch in Summer 2006, if I remember correctly.
