P2P I wont play an mmo with.a cash shop,of any kind.
You know, it seems like TSW might start a trend with subs and cash shop.
TSW is only following the trend which has already been in practise for quite sometime and just expanding on it.

Wow and Tera for example. Like i said trend was always there, TSW is expanding on it with more items in cash shop.
Even Fallen Earth had an item shop with monthly sub but it went F2P after few months.
Although the OP I was replying to mentions CS of any kind, like you mention they would be the first to have a CS that actually looks like a CS. What wow and Tera have are a bit different than the standard CS.
However they still do have a cs. As do all the freemium models: EQ2, Lotro... you can still pay the subscribtion but the cash shop is there for things you want too.

The difference is WOW isn't built around the cash shop. It is an addition and that is why you see items that don't really effect gameplay. EQ2 and LOTRO are the same as every other P2W game. They just have a bundle option that is a good deal.
You get what you pay for and this genre is absolutely no exception. I've been around the block enough times to realize this.

Depends on the game
Sandbox = Sub, no xpack or cash shop like EVE once was
Themepark = B2P, I'd rather pick and choose what rides to chose then pay a blanket sum every month and hope they turn out new/fun rides.
But have you been around enough times to realize that your block isn't the only one in town?

You can get MORE than what you pay for. Why? Because there are whales who would pay for my fun.
