Character wipes!?!

Have they wiped all the our characters this beta weekend?

Cuase I thought that was to happen after the beta weekend.

    Yes they wiped them because they merged some servers to stress test out their new networking infrastructure before launch.

    Yes these new characters will be wiped again most likely after the open beta before headstart.

    There is an offcial statement form ANet, but i am too lazy to go grab it for someone too lazy to google it in the first place, but yes wipe before and after this BWE.

    also noticed that the Sea of sorrows server is full, can anyone tell another good server for aussies?
