I am inconvientaly a newbie in the mmo world. Just because I didn't start playing when I was 12, and have spent hours of everyday of my life since playing these games. Doesn't mean I suck >.> It means I just learned how awesome these games can be. Just because it takes me a little more time than most to get the hang of the game, doesn't mean I can't eventually be good at the game. I don't understand the harm in some of you "oh so great masters of MMOs" stopping and helping someone who's lost or confused on how to do something. Instead of ranting some newbie crap and running off to kill something or continue your current quest. All and all it's tempting to just stop playing these games all together because no one will give a newbie a chance. So my only questions is why?

LOTRO is probably your best bet. I'm not really a fan of it anymore, but by and large they have a more mature and helpful playerbase.
