Am I able to start trial without CC?

in City of Heroes

Is there a way to start the 14 days trial thing without a credit card or game card? (Well, what kind of trial requires you to pay before you can even play?)

    Well, I believe you can go out and buy a game card and use that. If you have an ATM/Debit card, that can also be used.

    Is it that you don't have a card or that you don't want to use your card?

    I can pay for the game, but errr,  the trial really isn't a trial if it charges me before I can even try it?

    your account will not be charged untill after the 14 days. If you are not satified, just close the account before the 14 days is up.

    Neither do I, but it's becoming the norm for many of the newer free trials.  Oh well, these are respectable companies, I'm sure they won't rip you off for 15 dollars to have their whole image thrown awayimage

    hmmm I didnt know they had a free trail for CoH?

    do I need to buy the game first? or do they provide with downloads?

    They had a buddy system, not sure if thats still valid but it was something like that. To register your first month, free or not you need a CC. Even if you plan on using game cards you will need to use a CC to register and cancel right after. Same with the trial. Getting a client of a MMO isn't hard. Plaync also sells serials thus will have a valid url all the time that will let you download the client.... shoot the coh eu beta client url still works so not much of a problem with that.
