Hello,
And greetings. I see posted here mostly, people asking if they should get this game for reasons they alone have, I myself am looking for 3 things.
1. PvP , maybe not UO or SB , even crummy DaOC PVP , but enough that I can kick some serious @#(*$#(.
2. The Abillity to ruin someone elses gaming experience [ without being molested by employees of sony ... the gods above ]. Not by cheating, O no. Just by random killing of farming newblets ect.
3. And LAST, diversity, Hey even us hardcore jerks get bored of PKing 24/7. I want areas to explore and people to #$*#(talk !

I see from your sig, your hardcore. I bet your the kinda dude who was constantly yelling I was going to get what was coming to me in UO or SB after I keeled joo. And I surely did get it. 20 on 1 that was and a ROFL newb call there after.

Sorry, darn it, there's no PvP in EQ2 =( You should try World of Warcraft ... it's a fabulous game with PvP. I am sure you will be very happy there.

Actually, I don't really care what you play, as long as it isn't on any server I am on. Unless you come to my quake 3 server and only then because I can mute you. And then ban you.
And just to entertain you, there is no pvp in EQ2. And yes, you can hassle people pretty easily without getting into trouble for it. I pick fights with people all the time in /ooc and nothing ever happens.

O yes, troll. Isnt that when you goto a forum and post mad l33t speak on someone elses thread to intice and inflame them ? I was simply asking if they had PKing in the game, and I truly wrote that first post asking those 3 ? .....since that is how I play. Why bother being all sugar and spice, when in game I screw everyone and kill everyone I can except my friends. How do I make em ? Normally I get such a terrible rep someone contacts me and all are losers hang out together.
College , sorry did that in the 90's. Graduated, immature ? So you say. I got all my RL time to be nice. Post whore ? Doubt it, I post enough elsewere. LoD and Pk-Hq. Point is, I enjoy this style of play, and I guess this is not the game for me, thats fine. All I needed to know. Guildwars and Darkfall maybe have more for me. I find it funny how CB's think we are all the same, yet since Trammel I have seen the MMRPOG games goto garbage due to the CB's.

Umm, learn to read the page, thats TOTAL hours in ALL time played, not for the month. Maybe you should consider summer school.

If you want gameplay like your talking about go play Lineage 2 or DarkFall when it comes out. Open PvP everywhere. Or go play WoW on a PvP server...though thats more like DAoC.

Sadly I flipped a coin to see what MMO I would go back to. WoW or EQ 2. Did a best 3 of 5 flips. So it looks like i'll be playing WoW again starting next week. At least until something new comes out. (i.e Dark & Light, Darkfall Online, Middle Earth Online, Guildwars, Dungeons & Dragons Online, or Imperator) Just a shame Devil May Cry 3 and Republic Commando didn't take longer to finish.

You should do what I do ... being a non-powergamer with a limited attention span, I always keep at least two running. Yeah I know ... how does that fit with a game like EQ2. Not bad really. I figure I'll get there when I get there and I generally do. Variety keeps me fresh along the way, and my friends have all adjusted to the fact that they'll have three toons maxed out by the time I get one. Anyway, since I have that station pass deal now a couple friends talked me into buying SWG, and it really doesn't look bad for a change of pace game. It seems quite "unstructured", which is an interesting change.
Oh also, Guild Wars is having another beta weekend this weekend. If you order fast you might be able to get the "preorder" in, which gives you a key for the beta events. I'd give you the buddy key I had but I gave it to a couple friends ... seems they are hardly using it if at all but there's nothing I can do about it now.
