Fileplanet trial problems

So I decide to try UO, download 14 day UO Gold trial from fileplanet. There was no subscription number referred to in the download.
I install, try to log in. Get account is blocked message. Go to UO's site, my account is set up and created and indicates subscription not registered.
Now I am stuck in help hell. Unresponded questions to EA help desk and UO site. I get autoreplies to e-mails, no information on any FAQs. Anyone have any suggestions, I really would like to try the game without paying to see if this is for me.

I think that you have to registrate a subscription for it to be able to work.
Once you done that you will get your free 14 days and if you are not happy with
the game within that time, you just cancell your subscription. (Not that I think you wont be
)
Any other questions concerning UO you might have you can send to me and I´ll be more

Finally got it figured out -- the page for the registration on fileplanet was buried with no apparent links. Someone else had same problem and sent me the link.
Notably, seven e-mails and questions posted on EA cust service went unresponded or auto-replied. The only human being who actually responded was the one answering the bug e-mail address and he actually replied so that was nice.
