I had the most wicked thought

in Guild Wars 2

So on Facebook today I saw one of those copy/paste things like I BELIEVE IN CHRIST! you are supposed to share.. This one happened to have the heading "IF YOU BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY PRESS LIKE And Write I Believe!" All I could think about was GW2 and how the trinity is dead >.< Please dont be offended btw! I didn't post anything but I was VERY tempted >.<

    the copy/paste post was referring to the HOLY Trinity.. not the trinity tank, healer, dps... understand now?

    You might want to delete this somehow.  It is offensive to those who believe, and you're just going to provoke people into arguments.

    You do know this is on the GW2 forums right where we talk about the trinity all the time? I think it was an honest first thought.

    No I didnt.. the FB post was referring to that but I read trinity and thought of GW2.. you are drawing your own conclusions.

     You do realize that MMORPG term "holy trinity" comes from the Christian concept already right?  And Christ is 1/3 of said Trinity...or all of it...I have no clue, I never understood that, I don't even think the pastor that was telling me it did lol.

    Anyway..the point is that the MMORPG holy trinity, is already pretty blasphemous in and of itself ;).

    I'm not offended.  Yeah, you would have confused them if you wrote the trinity was dead, no more tanks and dedicated healers.  They'd have been.. huh? image

     I'm pretty sure Jesus was the dedicated healer...not sure who was the tank though, the holy spirit could be like an evade tank I guess.

    The trinity is far from dead and GW2 have far from the ultimate combat.

    As I see it anyone believing that MMO combat already is perfect and that trying out new stuffis bad is some kind of weird fanatic.

    You could actually improvethe trinity a lot (I would kill the tank myself and replace it with a rogue role instead, and make healer more of a utility classas well) but most devs prefer paste and copy.

    The reason so many people becomes so excited against the trinity now is that they actually gets a choice, GW2s combat is far fromultimate but unlike Rift and many others it feels new and refreshing. If now only devs get the point and instead of copying it try some other new stuffthings would be peachy.
