People are not going to pay a monthy sub unless they are afforded a very simple concept - freedom.
Dispute it all you want, but people want this in their online games and none of the major gaming companies are willing to deliver a product along this line.
A gamer who has freedom within a game is going to be far more tolerant of bugs, etc. vs a gamer who subscribes to a walled garden concept like SWTOR.
People are not looking for these developers to hand them an escape from reality vs them providing them the environment to do so.
It is so dissapointing to see how far things have fallen when it comes to mmo's.

You can't compalin about them not getting it when you use a word as nebulous as freedom. You may have some concept in your head about what that means. It may even have a lot of insight.
But until you can articulate something a bit concrete than "freedom" you have no right to criticize these people who put their professions on the line trying to create something. Because that is what these guys have to do they have to take something abstract and make something concrete and the devil is in the details.
He has no right to criticize these people when they havent delivered anything he wants?
He absolutely has every right. He is the consumer. He can voice his opinion all he pleases. Who are you to judge?
These people *chose* these professions by their own free will (oh the irony). He didnt force them into it, they chose this profession.
I think player freedom is pretty self explanatory.
