Disable names?

Perhaps someone here can help as I can't find anything googling this. Is there a way to turn off the overhead names? I really hate floating names with a passion, and I can't figure out a way to turn them off? Anyone know? Thanks!

completely agree. oh how i wish we could hide the names!! and its a damn shame we cant ;( . its crazy but i think hiding the player names is my #1 most wished for feature. it would improve the experience sooo much. in a game with manual blocking and manual dodging and aimed attacks and heals... removing clutter from the screen is super important. and unfortunately sometimes i see more letters and health bars on the screen than i actuallly see of the target lol. it makes it hard to see the beautiful world and fantastic animations and power effects.

i rabidly love DCUO and find it to be one the greatest games ive ever played. but the console style Interface is still clunky and lacks soo many standard options we find in almost all of current day MMOs.  i've been trying to get people to demand this feature on the official forums!! please join me and post there asking for this feature!

I completely agree with both of you.  Floating names to me just takes away the immersiveness (is that a word?) of the game.  I mean how often do you see people running around with their name above their head in real life.  I'd be more than happy to lend my voice to any partition on the official forums if you have a link to a thread.

I always turn names of when I can in an MMORPG.  I'm saddened to hear that you can't do this in DCUO.
