Guild Wars 2 beta weekend client

Simple question:

Has anyone seen anything regarding whether we will be able to update the beta weekend client to the full version or whether we should delete it and plan on redownloading a "release" version?

    I'm guessing you keep it, because they are still patching to it.

    You can keep the same client. Source material would be GW2 twitter site as well as the GW2 reddit ( probably others as well). :)

    There is a serach button.

     

    But yes, the beta client will be patched to the release client.

    @mike. The mobile version doesn't seem to have the search button as far as I can tell. Sorry.

    No, that is their website tag line.  Check it out, has all sorts of stuff.  News, funnies, pics, gifs, etc.

    I've seen nothing, but the client will still patch, so I doubt a delete/redownload will be required. If they do go that route, I hope they give us plenty of heads up or their will be a lot of angry people on the 25th.

    As many people have already said, you don't need to download a whole new client (athough you can, once you prepurchase, you can download client as many times as you want). This has been confirmed on many social networking sites along with Q&A with devs. All you need to do is patch the current beta one. :D

    I load the client from time to time just to see if they've added another patch. It's almost like watching the progress get done, but I would much rather be able to listen to the music like the launcher from BWE1

    You can still do that - put -useoldlauncher at the end of your GW2 shortcut target line.
