After reading through the Digital Gaudium interview with ArenaNet, I noticed one of the questions involved the Guild Wars 2 mobile application.

This seems quite interesting. Could it be that there won't be an actual ArenaNet sponsored application, but instead the community designs various applications?
Also the possibility for various web APIs for the use in websites seems quite interesting. I'm really curious about this now. It could make developing a Guild Website more fun.
Does everyone feel about the possibility of community directed applications, rather than ArenaNet creating and maintaining them?
